KabirAbstract: The design and operation of energy-efficient systemsfor indoor environment control (heating, cooling,ventilation, lighting) can benefit from reliable(empirically grounded) information on occupants'actions to bring about changes in the status ofbuilding control systems. Specifically, thecomputational modeling of occupants' controloriented control actions in building performancesimulation applications can be significantly improvedbased on such empirical information on userbehavior.
