Prototyp eines parallelen, interaktiven Rechenkerns zur hygro-thermischen Gebäudesimulation auf Basis der Lattice-Boltzmann Methode

Abstract: We describe the development of a prototype for hygro-thermal building simulation based on the Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) with focus on the optimization of air-conditioning of open-plan offices. Besides the implementation using the LBM approach, the focus of this work is the coupling of the different physical parameters (air flow, temperature and humidity) and the online-interaction with the kernel by either controlling algorithms for the climatic parameters or by design changes done by the user of the prototype. The implementation of the modeller and the control circuits by an interface to external modules allows simple use without changes of the source code and interoperation with a large number of modelling tools. Because of the complexity and consequentially the huge computing effort we couple with a parallel kernel. Actual results will be show and an outlook for the next improvements will be given.
