Thermische Simulationen zur Bewertung des Potenzials eines neuartigen, hoch wärmegedämmten Fenstersystems

Abstract: In order to quantify the energy saving potential of a highly insulating frame system, a test room within a high-rise building with identical climatic conditions in the adjacent rooms (adiabatic inner walls) has been simulated, with different orientations taken into account: north, south, east and west. Three scenarios varying in facade construction and building use have been analyzed. For each scenario the monthly and annual heating energy demand has been calculated and compared to that of other established window solutions. The implication of the window system on the annual heating energy cost and the CO2 emissions has been estimated.
