Abstract: A High glazing fraction leads to comfort risks. Investigations of comfort effects by means of measurements for recently realized schoolhouses and of additional CFD calculations delivered general basic guidelines for school buildings as for other glazed buildings (Schälin 2004). The investigations also show failings of simplified considerations and deliver guidelines for comfort values.
