Simulation von Gebäudeatrien als Basis von Energiekonzepten

Abstract: Different patterns of utilisation, energy related questions and simulation approaches for glazed atria are discussed and the atria model of the simulation environment SMILE is described. As typical application of a simple model, different inclusions of an atrium in air flow concepts are studied systematically. The use of a multi layer model is illustrated with two projects with controlled and natural ventilation. Advantages and limits of this model are shown.
