Abstract: Based on the Standard DIN V 18599 a new data model for determining the energetic performance of buildings has been developed. The data model is, once parametrized, evaluated by a computation engine which implements the algorithms of DIN V 18599. Administration functionality of the data model and interfaces provided allow the inclusion of both the datamodel and the computational functions into divers third party applications (e.g. graphical user interfaces).
