Interaktive Optimierung Mess-, Steuer- und Regelungstechnischer Anlagen für die technische Gebäudeausrüstung

Abstract: In this paper we present interactive HVAC simulations based on a software prototype for fluid flow problems in civil engineering. The complete virtualization of all measuring-, operation- and controldevices by software agents serves as an example of how Computational Steering and distributed approaches can be utilized for HVAC design and installation. The possibility of the control engineer to optimize the geometrical position of HVAC elements such as inlets, outlets and measurement sensors and the possibility to parameterize the control loop of the installation highlights the usefulness of an interactive optimization. The computational results of a typical simulation scenario of our prototype will be compared with reference assets and field measurements found in the literature and confirm the feasibility of our approach. .
