Messtechnische und rechnerische Untersuchung auftriebsinduzierter Raumluftströmungen im Realmaßstab
Stephan Schlitzberger, Anton Maas, Wolfram Haupt, Florian AntretterAbstract: CFD-Calculations, which are already well established in other fields, for example in the automotive industry, are now being applied more and more to the design of natural ventilation in buildings. Despite the fundamental importance of very precisely measuring project areas, usage of this relevant technology in the field of indoor air movements has not yet been realized. In particular, no studies of buoyant indoor convection in real-scale with all boundary conditions measured accurately have been published yet. This is a significant obstacle for further developments in modelling indoor airflow. Using a real-scale setup (see Bild 1) consisting of a room with both heatable and/or coolable surrounding surfaces which itself is located in an air-conditioned hall, numerous experiments will be carried out in order to analyze various simulations of natural ventilation and to find good-practice examples.
