Simulationssoftware zur Berechnung der lokalen Behaglichkeit in einem Raum

Abstract: The consideration of local comfort and discomfort in buildings becomes more important with the increasing number of computer work places where office workers remain in more or less the same position over the whole day. In order to provide a thermally sound and comfortable environment it is necessary to consider non-uniform characteristics of the environment, such as temperature stratification, radiation asymmetry created by radiant cooled floors or ceilings, and air movement around body parts. Based on Stolwijk’s physiological model a software tool was developed to calculate human responses on the thermal environment. The UCB Comfort model allows for further investigation in sensation and comfort of occupants and the development of local conditioning systems.
