Untersuchung der Ursachen für Raumklimaprobleme in einer Schwimmbadhalle mittels CFD-Simulation

Abstract: The paper describes investigation of the indoor environment of a pool hall by means of CFD simulation (Computational Fluid Dynamics) in software FLUENT. A set of detailed simulations of the indoor air quality as well as thermal comfort was conducted for winter conditions. In these simulations, stationary heat conduction, convection and radiation were considered, including moisture transport. The simulation results greatly helped to identify the problem causing areas. The main causes of the discomfort identified were: the cooling effect of the switchback and the ventilation system design B15 A1 Schwimmbad B1 Whirlpool B2 Sauna Messpunkte des Raumklimas B13 A2 B4 B3 Pool für Kleinkinder Wasserrutsche B14 Becken der Wasserrutsche and the poor ventilation system design - zoning ignored.
