Parameterstudie von Einflussgrößen eines tagesbelichteten Raumes – Vorstellung einer Matlab-Radiance-Koppelung

Matthias Werner, Rainer Pfluger

Abstract: This paper presents an automated parametric study for daylit rooms coupling the software tools Matlab and Radiance. Matlab creates a Design of Experiment study (DoE), which generates different variations depending on the number of parameters and their discretisations. Input files based on the DoE (geometry, sky conditions, simulation points) are then automatically created for lighting simulation. The Ray-Tracing tool Radiance simulates the variations and the results are returned to Matlab. Thus the influence of each parameter can be checked by sensitivity and regression analysis. The outcome of the work presented in this paper is an automated research routine for daylight problems.
