Entwicklung eines Gebäudeinformationssystems mit einem Bottom-Up-Modell zur Berechnung des Energiebedarfs von Stadtquartieren

Abstract: There is considerable potential for implementing energy conservation measures in the residential housing stock, particularly those which affect room heating and domestic hot water use. A new information system is presented here which offers a descriptive illustration and quantitative analysis of various refurbishment measures. This databasesupported system uses PHP for processing the results of database queries, which can be mapped to 3D building objects according to geographical location in Google Earth. Unknown variables including the area of the building envelope, the U-value of building elements and the energy efficiency of the heating system can be estimated using only a few parameters. Additionally, the net, final and primary energy demand can be estimated for a single building or a selection of the building stock. The ability to perform large-scale analyses could support decision making for targeted energy reduction measures and would be of particular interest to the real estate and energy industries, local councils as well as research organisations.
