Hardware-in-the-Loop-Werkzeuge für den Entwurf und Test energieeffizienter Raumautomationssysteme in Gebäuden

Abstract: This article describes a Hardware-in-the-Loop tool for designing, dimensioning and testing of energy efficient and demand optimized room automation systems. This HiL tool has been developed in the context of a research project at Biberach University of Applied Sciences. The functions of the stationary and the mobile HiL tool are defined by following components: - modular room model - Hardware coupler - Graphical User Interface (GUI). They allow considering the application situation as well as the connection of hardware which should be tested. Furthermore they support a targeted intuitive handling. The dynamic controller performance and control quality as well as the functionality of the controller will be checked by specially defined test scenarios and valued by Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The applicability of the HiL tools should be proved in first practical tests.
