Aktuelle Softwareentwicklungen für die Planungspraxis: Gekoppelte Simulationen für geothermische Nutzungen

Abstract: Thermal building energy performance simulations and geothermal simulations of the subsurface have proved to be crucial for the design of near-surface geothermal systems. To increase design quality and reduce costs and risks for heating and cooling plants coupled to borehole heat exchangers or groundwater, the Gruner Group developed a new software environment. The software allows runtime coupling of building energy performance simulations using EnergyPlus and 3D modelling of groundwater flow and heat transport in the soil using Feflow. This paper presents results of the on-going simulation studies.
