Ein simulationsbasierter Ansatz zur Analyse von Hitzestressereignissen in Innenräumen

Abstract: The proposed paper presents a simulation-based approach to study indoor heat stress that has been developed in the DFG research group 1736 “Urban Climate and Heat Stress in mid-latitude cities in view of climate change“(UCaHS). Our goal is to calculate spatially resolved indoor climate over the entire duration of heat waves to be able to identify heat stress effects on human beings and to test local adaptation or mitigation strategies. For this purpose we implement a three-dimensional zonal approach for the air flow and the room energy balance. This approach can be classified in between thermal building simulation and CFD. The validation based on measurement data from a thermal model house shows that temperature developments can be reproduced adequately by the zonal model. A comparison with CFD-results shows that an estimation of the air movement in mean and maximum values is feasible.
