Abstract: The article presents a net zero energy building under conditions of use. The energy consumption and local energy generation are compared on the basis of monitoring data and using various balance frameworks. The building is modelled in the IDA ICE simulation environment for an accompanying analysis. The simulation is carried out concurrently on the basis of TRY and on the basis of measured weather data. The simulation results are compared to the balance results from the measured values and the calculated energy demand from steady state balances and are then evaluated.
