Vereinfachte simulationsgestützte Auslegung von thermoaktiven Bauteilsystemen als Erweiterung des UBB-Verfahrens

Abstract: Within a research project on lowex-buildings with geothermal heating and cooling currently used design methods and control strategies for thermally-active building structures (TABS) were investigated as a bases for further developments. Out of these, the Unknown-but-bounded-procedure (UBB-procedure) was chosen as a best practice method and further analysed. Tests based on building simulations show that given thermal comfort criteria are met but the possible temperature range is not completely used. Extensive simplifcations of the room models used are identified as a cause. Expansions of the room models and boundary conditions used are suggested to eliminate the existing inaccuracies and restrictions. Simulation tests show that the intended improvements (complete utilization of thermal comfort range, reduction of cooling energy demand) can be achieved by using a suffciently detailed room model.
