GIS-BASIERTE ENERGETISCHE MODELLIERUNG UND SIMULATION VON STADTQUARTIEREN AUS DEM BESTAND AUF BASIS VON MODELICA

Abstract: Within the Open eQuarter research project, a GIS analysis tool was developed based on QGis which enables to analyse the building precise thermal energy demand of a city district using open available geo-referenced building data, such as the building outlines, the number of storeys and the building age. Up to now, the approach was limited to residential buildings. The analysis scale of the Open eQuarter tool was extended with energetic building parameters for non-residential buildings. The enhanced parameter set was used in order to automatically generate Modelica city district models for the calculation of thermal load profiles for individual buildings and the entire district. With an example of a city district from the centre of Berlin, which includes approximately 500 residential and non-residential buildings, the process chain was evaluated. In addition, a simulation analysis for an individual building of the district, for which energy demand data are available, was performed for a plausibility check of the simulation results.
