Abstract: The paper focuses on convective heat transfer via opened windows and internal doors in a single family house of bungalow style in TRNSYS. Based on the description of the underlying building and heat supply system models, an approach for modeling convective heat transfer through opened windows and internal doors is presented. Finally, within a simulation study the influence of several parameters on the thermal performance of the building is analysed and recommendations for simulation praxis are derived.
