Thus, finite element models (here 2D based on Matlab PDETOOL) can be directly coupled to building and system simulation. This enables the solution of many complex building physics problems, such as solar heat pump systems and ground coupled heat pump systems with basket, trench or building integrated ground heat exchanger. For passive houses, a system with a ground coupled heat pumps with a building integrated ground heat exchanger is evaluated by means of simulation. The heat supply system, which includes a ground heat exchanger, a heat pump, a building and optionally solar thermal, is modeled using the simulation environment Matlab/Simulink and the Carnot Blockset. Based on the simulation, a heat pump calculation tool has been developed. Pages: 686 - 693 Paper:![]()
