A Trnsys Model Of A Building Hvac System With Gshp And Pcm Thermal Energy Storage – Component Modeling And Validation

FINNDOI: https://doi.org/10.26868/25222708.2013.2349Abstract: This paper describes the development of a simulation model using TRNSYS of a building integrated ground source heat pump with a cold phase change material thermal energy storage unit in a lightweight commercial building located in Marseille, France. The development of the overall system model involved the construction of individual models to simulate various components in the building, including a PCM tank, fan coil units, pumps, an air handling unit and the heat pump.
