It describes the experiments that were designed and conducted and the instrumentation employed, and then contrasts the measurements with model predictions. The sensitivity of model predictions to uncertain inputs is also treated. Overall, the experimental results were found to be in close agreement with the model. This contribution represents the first known experimental validation of a working abovefloor tube-and-plate radiant floor model that is suitable for use in building performance simulation tools.
