Abstract: This manuscript describes a methodology for organizing and displaying disparate sources of building performance simulation data to form spatial displays of a myriad of building performance outputs and drive design understanding from an architectural point of view. The results are based on annual simulation data, are spatially discrete, and can be displayed and interpreted through a variety statistical methods. A series of simple visualizations to describe the performance of passive and active architectural design strategies are presented in addition to further suggestions for temporally varying data display animations.
