Geometrical interoperability of 3D CityGML building models for urban energy use cases

Abstract: This paper describes a CityGML Geometrical transformation and validation tool (CityGTV) enabling the interoperability of CityGML datasets for urban energy use cases. A brief explanation of the toolbox’s functionalities along with the developed algorithms for the geometrical validation are described in this paper.
