The ENVI-met calculation for the outdoor microclimate conditions is used to specify the thermal boundary conditions for the building simulation modelling to give a realistic building energy consumption profile. The results revealed that the energy simulation using the generated ‘urban specific weather datasets' (USWDs) performed better than the one using the weather file obtained from the international weather station with only 6% deviation against 15% compared to the actual electricity consumption Keywords: Computational fluid dynamics (CFD), building energy modeling (BEM), outdoor thermal comfortPages: 1459 - 1465 Paper:![]()
