A calibrated district energy model has been created and used to assess the impact of potential decarbonisation strategies for the heat and electricity sectors. An Irish university campus has been selected as a casestudy. The analysis concludes that the campus can achieve a 10% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions through improved use of existing systems at district level.
