The model investigates the impact of pipeline diameters and lengths on system energy efficiency, as well as the effect of changing heating load demand profiles. Results show that larger pipeline diameters and shorter lengths between buildings result in higher energy efficiency. Changing heating load demand profiles can also affect the received energy from the grid. The model allows for monitoring temperature changes in pipeline points, providing useful information for system optimization.
