The results indicate that tailoring CSPF calculation to such conditions is a key to better communicating RAC efficiencies to stakeholders. Additionally, using Building Performance Simulation was proved as an innovative approach within this scope since it may tailor CSPF calculation to specific hours in which indoor conditions are more likely to demand cooling use. This practice also highlighted equipment-related outcomes that static evaluations could not detect.
