PRACTICAL ENERGY ANALYSIS METHODS FOR MULTI-UNIT RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS

Abstract: The multi-residential housing stock includes about 1.6 million dwelling units in low-rise buildings in Canada. This building class consists of duplexes, triplexes, and low-rise apartment buildings of less than 12 units. To provide reliable and quick energy analysis of large numbers of low-rise multi-residential buildings, simplified methods have been developed and added to HOT2000.
