Case Study of Occupant's Perception of Indoor Thermal Conditions under Different Heating Systems

Abstract: This study is focused on a human perception of a thermal environment. The human perception is influenced by many factors, for example activity, clothing, age, gender and psychological condition. In the laboratory thermal conditions of outdoor and indoor environment were artificially simulated. Experiments were repetitively held on the group of 24 occupants for different kinds of heating systems. These occupants were of same age and wore same kind of clothing. Half of them were male and half female. The aim of the sets of experiments was to assess a of occupants´ perception of the thermal conditions.
